Sutterville Preschool has nurtured the children of Land Park, the Pocket and surrounding Sacramento areas since 1952. With a guiding philosophy of “Play is Childrens’ Work“ we offer a relaxed, stress-free atmosphere where children can learn about themselves, their environment and other people through creative and imaginative play. Our teachers strive to give our students as much freedom as possible to explore their environment and relationships to others in an atmosphere where they feel loved and supported.

As a cooperative non profit preschool, parents are as much a part of the school as the children. Parents share in the operation of the school and are actively involved in the classroom. When you enroll in Sutterville, you join a family not just a school.
